As promised, we aim to share a general update on the 15th of every month. We will keep you informed about the progress of the project, our goals, and our mission.
Preparing Rownd CNC Lathe for Mass Production:
As pledged, we are working diligently to showcase the mass production prototype of Rownd CNC Lathe at the CES exhibition in January 2024 and commence deliveries in February 2024. Feedback from our backers, throughout the campaign, has prompted us to make improvements to the current prototype to bring to life the promised features.
Over the past month, while the mechanical design for the final product continues, we have determined the motor options and placed orders for three different servo motors. In the coming month, we will be testing and pushing the limits of these motors on the current prototype.
For Rownd's external shell, we have explored both plastic injection and metal sheet options, creating separate designs for each and submitting them to suppliers.
We have reached an agreement with our supplier for the electronic circuitry and drivers. Our current supplier is continuing with demo preparations, and subsequent testing will take place on the current prototype.
The procurement of other parts and equipment is pending the finalization of the Monoblock chassis, circuits and drivers, motor selections, and external shell.
Upcoming Rownd Pre-orders:
Following the completion of our Kickstarter campaign, we received a significant demand for pre-orders. This month, we will begin accepting pre-orders, starting with the United States the European Union, and the United Kingdom. As we prepare for pre-orders, we value your feedback.
